Looks like this was something in my drafts that I had written up to stick somewhere, and never hit post on? I think I didn’t have the 1994-1996 stuff fleshed out, really. (I’ll be saving this to my own blog’s drafts...)

2018-2020: Hybrids allowed with restriction to non-hybrid performance (improved fuel efficiency only)

2014-2017: Fuel flow regulation, upright cockpits for safety, closed cockpit mandatory, hybrids explicitly encouraged and rewarded with higher speed, reduced weight (850 kg for hybrids, 830 kg for non-hybrids)

2011-2013: Displacement reduction to previous LMP2 parameters (3.7T diesel, 3.4 NA gasoline, 2.0T gasoline), rear fin, hybrids allowed with restriction to non-hybrid performance (improved fuel efficiency only), diesels reduced to 900 kg

2009-2010: Hybrids allowed

2007-2008: Closed cockpits encouraged through power break for the mandatory air conditioning, diesels get 930 kg minimum weight

2004-2006: LMP1 replaces LMP900 and LMGTP, LMP2 replaces LMP675, safety changes made, diesels allowed

2000-2003: LMP1 split into LMP900 (heavy, large engines) and LMP675 (light, small engines)

1998-1999: LMGTP created for closed-cockpit prototypes

1994-1996: Group C successor formula
